IKEA Industry Poland announced plans to create 300 jobs at its new sawmill in Stalowa Wola. The new plant will open in 16 September 2014 and it will produce sawn timber for IKEA’s furniture factories. The company has invested PLN 33 million (€ 8.25 million).
IKEA Industry Poland (formerly known as Swedspan Poland) was founded in June 2009 and it is a subsidiary of IKEA group. The company has also a factory in Orla (the Podlaskie Voivodeship).
