Description
On 1 September 2014, German chip producer NXP announced its plan to create 130 jobs by the end of 2015. The company is to build a new office in Hamburg which will be designed for 550 additional employees in the long term.
NXP is the biggest supplier of security chips worldwide. According to the company, almost half of payment cards in the world contain a NXP chip. Currently, NXP employs around 1,700 people.
