European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ence, a company specialised in the manufacture of pulp, has announced a collective dismissals plan for its plant in Huelva. The measure will affect 294 employees and is due to the conversion of the pulp manufacture plant of Huelva into a renewable energy generation centre.
The company will open in the following days a negotiation process with the unions. As reported, job transfers within the company or an external outplacement plan and severance pay will be offered to the affected staff.
