European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Hofa, international logistics company based in Vilnius, intends to dismiss 210 employees by 19 September 2014. According to the management, the main cause of dismissals is the Russian embargo against food imports from the EU. The main activity of Hofa is transportation of fresh fruit and vegetables from the EU to Russia. Currently the company employs 274 people. The company has already dismissed 63 employees in August.
