European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The car manufacturer PSA Peugeot-Citroën has decided to cut 300 temporary jobs. The job reduction measure will affect mostly its manufacturing units of the Peugeot 3008, 5008 and Citroën DS5 (from 2 teams to 1, 5 team).
The decision is linked with a capacity optimisation strategy. As reported the unions expressed fears for further job reduction measures in the future.
