Law firm Baker and McKenzie is to establish a new back-office operation in Northern Ireland. More than 250 jobs will be created in the new Belfast site. The company, whose headquarters are in Chicago, employs over 10,000 people worldwide and is developing the new site with a grant of £1.3 million from Invest NI.
Of the new positions 70 will be in legal services and 185 will be in support roles such as billing or IT. Average salaries will be £31,000. It is not known when these jobs will become available.
