Description
Laminorul Braila will restart its activity and hire up to 230 employees in August 2014, after being shut down for approximately two years. The plant was specialising in processing ferrous metals in their primary and semi-finished state. It ceased production in 2012 and all its employees were laid off, except for around 20 of them who remained for security and administrative activities.
Invest Nikarom, the current owner, decided to restart production at a capacity that would meet the volume of the contracted orders. The strategy for the upcoming period will be decided according to the results obtained after the first stage of production.
