European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As announced on 30 July 2014, German glass manufacturer Technische Glaswerke Ilmenau is to dismiss all of its 220 employees by October 2014. The company has filed for bankruptcy in May and failed to find an investor. According to the insolvency administrator a social plan including severance payments for the dismissed has been set up with a budget of €1.3 million .
