Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 16 July 2014, Austrian Competence Call Center (CCC) announced the creation of 400 jobs in Berlin until the end of the year. The company is currently searching for 350 new employees to enlarge its customer service department.
CCC currently employs 1,600 people at two sites in Berlin and wishes the number of employees to increase up to 2,000 until the end of the year.
