European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Czech energy supplier Pražská plynárenská is to cut 70 jobs (15% of the staff) at the end of September 2014, aiming at streamlining its activities. As reported, the job reduction measure will affect mostly administrative staff and work pensioners (for more information on the participation of pensioners in the Czech workforce see here).
Pražská plynárenská is a natural gas provider to Prague and is contolled by the city of Prague since the beginning of 2014.
