European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish bank Caixabank has signed a labour agreement with the unions that include the creation of 700 new jobs in 2015. At least 80% of the jobs will become open-ended contracts after two years. It is the first agreement concluded in the banking sector that contemplates the creation of jobs since the onset of the crisis. The agreement also includes an early retire schemes for workers that were born in 1957 and working life balance measures.
