Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
IT company AMG.net has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its unit in Łódź by the end of 2014. According to the sources, the company is looking to employ IT specialists, mainly programmers. The job creation is part of the company’s plan to establish its main technical and competence centres in Łódź, Madrid and Marseilles. The sources report that AMG.net customers are usually large or medium-sized businesses from the industrial, financial and telecommunications sectors.
AMG.net was founded in 1996 in Łódź and was was acquired by the Bull group in 2006. The Bull group operates in 50 countries and employs around 10,000 people.
