Description

American food company Mondelez International announced expansion plans and the creation of 200 new jobs at its Opava site in the first half of 2015. The investment amounts to over CZK 2 billion. Biscuit products are designed primarily for the European market. Approximately 90 pc of the new jobs are intended for workers with secondary vocational education in food and technical fields.

Mondelez Czech Republic currently employs 670 people in Opava. Globally, Mondelez International has 110,000 employees.
