Swedish construction company Skanska has announced that it will create 800 jobs in Poland. According to the source, the company will employ engineers, managers and specialists in the areas of electric power, low-voltage technology and rail. The source notes that the jobs will be created in a range of construction areas including rail, energy and water.
The job creation is a result of increased profits at the company. The source reports that the company saw a 46% increase in profit in the first four months of 2014 when compared to the same period last year. The ERM previously reported on restructuring at the company in 2009.
