Description

The Polish group Domex has announced that it will cut 400 jobs following its bankruptcy in May. The sources report that the group owns a chain of electronic stores Avans and has two distribution centres located in Konin and Chmielów.

The sources report that the group has launched a restructuring programme as it is PLN 380 million in debt. According to the sources, the restructuring programme will see 170 jobs cut at the Avans chain and 230 jobs cut at ME Logistic, a subsidiary of Domex, which provides logistic and storage services for the Avans chain.
