Raasepori municipality has announced that it will cut 125 jobs over 2014 and 2015. The decision follows negotiations with employees of the municipality. According to the source, the municipality initially intended to reduce city employees by 150, however this was reduced to 125 following the negotiations.
The source reports that nine employees will be made redundant through direct dismissals, while the rest of the 125 will be let go through natural attrition. According to the source, Raasepori municipality hopes to save €6 million annually with the reduced personnel costs.
