Turku municipality has announced that it will cut 350 jobs. According to the source, the municipality began negotiations in March regarding the possibility of 330 redundancies, but this figure was increased.
The source reports that Turku municipality will reduce staff by 175 employees in 2015 and 2016 respectively. The job cuts are part of a cost savings measure intended to save €8.4 million per year.
