German automotive supplier Trelleborg Vibracoustic is to cut 185 jobs at its sites in Breuberg and Neuenburg. As reported, 100 out of 230 jobs will be lost at the company site in Breuenberg and 85 out of 500 jobs at the Neunburg site.
According to the sources, Trelleborg Vibracoustic plans to transfer part of the production activities to Romania. The timeframe for the restructuring is not known yet.
Trelleborg Vibracoustic is a German producer of anti-vibration systems. It is a joint venture firm of Trelleborg and the Freudenberg group. For a previously reported restructuring event see Trelleborg Vibracoustic – 2013.
