Description
Yelp, the online social business guide, is to create 100 jobs in Dublin when it moves its European headquarters to Ireland. According to the sources, Yelp chose Ireland for the investment as it has a population with the necessary education and language skills. The jobs will be in the areas of account management, sales, finance and engineering. A timeline for the job creation is not yet available.
The sources report that Yelp was founded in San Francisco in 2004 and is now listed on the New York Stock Exchange with a market value of USD 4.3 billion (€3.1 billion).
