The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Insurance broker Towergate has announced that it will cut 750 jobs across its branches. According to the source, the job losses will be partially offset by the creation of 400 new posts in a call centre in Manchester.
The source reports that the restructuring is intended to produce a better service for its customers, and the decision follows a successful pilot in Milton Keynes. The time frame for the changes is not yet available.
