Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has announced that it is to create 250 new jobs at its factory in Gaydon in Warwickshire. The expansion is part of a GBP 20 million investment by the company. According to the source, the company wants to increase its workforce and manufacturing capabilities at the site. The jobs will be in engineering, manufacturing and also in the commercial side of the business.
It is expected that these positions will be created over the next few months. The ERM previously reported on restructuring at Aston Martin in 2008.
