Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US producer of automotive components Johnson Controls has created 100 new jobs in a newly opened factory in Ceska Lipa and plans to expand the workforce with additional 120 staff by the end of 2015. The plant is currently running in a test mode and the full operation is scheduled for March 2015. This is Johnson Controls' fourth plant in the region.
Johnson Controls has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1992. Overall, the firm currently employs over 6,000 people in ten factories.
The Group globally employs about 170,000 workers in 150 countries.
