Description
UK-owned business outsourcing specialist Capita has announced that it is to create 400 new jobs at its offices in Newtonabbey, Country Antrim, Northern Ireland. This follows recent similar expansion in the Republic of Ireland. The company specialises in providing IT services for public, private and third sector clients across the UK.
The jobs are being created by an investment of nearly £30 million, £4 million of which comes from Invest Northern Ireland. When the 400 new jobs are filled the total headcount in Newtonabbey will be just under 1,000. It is expected that these jobs will be filled over a three year period.
