Description
IT services firm CSC has announced that it is to shed 750 jobs in the UK. This is part of a continuing restructuring of the company's operations across the world. The company has a contract with NHS trusts in the North, Midlands and East of England to provide its Lorenzo electronic patient records system. It is not thought that these job losses are connected with any specific contract, but losses are likley to come from the healthcare parts of the business.
These job losses represent another round of cuts to a business which had previously announced redundancies in 2012 (FS 20089).
