Description
Philips Lighting has announced plans to cut 75 jobs at its site in Chartes (Eure-et-Loire) due to the low demand in the European market. As announced the social plan will be negotiated on 13 May and will be implemented from November 2014 to February 2015. As reported, the company plans to avoid forced dismissals and expects the restructuring to be implemented by means of voluntary redundancies and internal mobility within the group.
The site produces light systems for the automotive industry.
