Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The management of the chipboard panel plant Depalor and the union CFDT have signed a social plan on the dismissals of its 142 employees. As reported, the plan envisages a dismissal allowance of €30,000 to 200,000 per employee depending the position and the seniority. The site is not operational since it was partially destroyed by a fire the previous July.
