Description
The Austrian aircraft supplier FACC has announced that it will create 150 jobs this year, after it goes public on the Vienna Stock Exchange. According to the sources, the company increased its turnover by more than 26% in 2013. This increase was a result of positive developments in the aircraft industry and an increase in orders.
In 2009, FACC was acquired by the Chinese Company ‘Aviation Industry Corp of China’ (AVIC). FACC currently employs a total number of 2963 people, 2633 in Austria and 330 abroad.
The ERM previously reported on restructuring events at FACC in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.
