Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 14 May 2014, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company Infosys Poland announced plans to create between 400 and 500 jobs at its unit in Lodz by the end of 2014. Infosys is looking for accountants, finance, purchasing and project managers with foreign language skills, especially French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch and German. The company is to employ graduates as well as experienced specialists.
The sources report that the company continues the expansion of its activities in Poland and the restructuring programme is a result of new contracts.
Infosys is an Indian multinational provider of business consulting, technology, engineering, and outsourcing services, operating in Poland since 2007. The company currently employs over 2,000 people.
