European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US-based Caterpillar subsidiary MWM will create about 100 jobs in Mannheim (Baden-Württemberg). The job creation is going to be implemented until the end of 2014 and affect all of the company’s departments. At least 20 jobs are to be created in the Research and Development department.
MWM is a subsidiary of the American Caterpillar Group. 200 additional jobs have been created since the acquisition in 2011. MWM employs 1,450 people, 900 of them in Mannheim.
In 2013 MWM announced the creation of 100 new jobs.
