Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
TRW Automotive Safety Systems, a subsidiary of the US TRW Automotive, will create 300 jobs in its new plant at Roman (Neamt) by the end of 2014. The new unit will support the TRW airbag factories in Europe.
According to the sources, 100 people are currently employed at the unit and the company hopes that about 1,800-2,000 jobs will be created in Roman in total by 2017. Currently, TRW Automotive Safety Systems employs more than 4,000 people at its six production sites in Romania.
