Description
Business Sweden, the former Swedish Trade Council, has announced that it will cut 60 jobs in Sweden. Business Sweden is an organisation which aims to help Swedish companies grow internationally and to attract foreign investment to Sweden.
The source reports that the job cuts are a result of a decline in profits by SEK 42 million (€ 4.7 million) from the previous year (2013) and a decline in its equity by 50% over the last six years. The restructuring is a part of a cost savings program to address its budget deficit and to make the organisation more efficient.
