Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedish furniture manufacturer Kinnarps Interior has announced it will cut 50 jobs at its factory in Falköping.
Kinnarps Interior currently employs 442 people at the site. According to the source, the job cuts are a result of a decline in sales. The restructuring is also designed to make production more effective. The company has now entered into negotiations with trade unions. A timeline for the jobs cuts is not yet available.
The ERM has reported on previous restructuring events at Kinnarps Interior in 2009.
