Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Global accounting and consultancy firm Ernst and Young announced a major new recruitment drive for its Belfast operations. 486 jobs are being created in addition to the 145 already employed in the Belfast offices.
Recruitment for the jobs is expected to begin in July and the jobs will be filled over a four year period. The new jobs will be created in various business consultancy fields, including auditing. The positions are skilled and it is expetced that recruitment will primarily be among graduates.
