Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki (Zakłady Naprawcze Taboru Kolejowego Mińsk Mazowiecki), a Polish company which produces and repairs railway rolling stock, has announced it will create 150 new jobs.
According to the source, this job creation is a result of new contracts that the company has signed with the railway operators Koleje Mazowieckie and PKP Intecity to build new trains. ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki also plans to expand their facility. The trains will be produced in Bydgoszcz and will be ready by October 2015.
There is no timeline available yet about when the new employees will be hired.
