The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch construction company De Combi Groep has been declared bankrupt and 245 jobs at the company will be lost as a result. The company specialised in maintenance, renovation and new construction.
According to the source, the job cuts are a result of a decline in the Dutch construction sector. Additionally, the source notes that the firm was experiencing cash flow problems and cost-cutting measures were insufficient to mitigate the company’s losses.
