Kronospan, an Austrian producer of wood products, has announced it will create 200 jobs at its factory in Strzelce Opolskie (the Katowicka Special Economic Zone) in Poland.
The recruitment process has already begun and the company will employ electricians, machine operators, mechanics and administrative staff. The company is also recruiting people with foreign language skills.
Kronospan has been operating in Poland since 1989 and it has units in five locations (Strzelce Opolskie, Pozna?, Szczecinek, Mielec and Pustków). The ERM has previously reported on restructuring events in Kronospan in Poland in 2009 and 2011.
