The group 3 Suisses, on-line and mail order retailer, has announced its plan to cut about 198 jobs in the framework of a reorganisation. The management decided to eliminate the traditional paper catalogue and to use its website. Management proposals are to provide support for outplacement to 166 employees and early retirement for 32 employees over 56 years old. The discussion with social partners on the social plan starts 17 April with the aim to conclude by 17 July. 3 Suisses has lost €300 million since 2008 and 62 million only in 2013. The first catalogue was published in 1932 and the last one was sent in November 2013 for the Spring and Summer collection.
