Description
American multinational chip producer Intel is to close down its research site in Braunschweig, 120 jobs are to be lost. As reported, Intel seeks to merge its R&D activities in Europe and the restructuring is part of a cost saving plan. According to the sources, some of the highly qualified staff possibly will be offered relocation. The company has 50 research centres in Europe.
