The French subsidiary of the Anglo-Dutch multinational consumer goods company Unilever is to cut 134 jobs at its headquarters in Rueil-Malmaison (Haut-de-Seine) by September 2014. As reported, the restructuring refers to 79 managerial positions and 54 department supervisors. Unilever employs 2,700 people in France. Unions highlight that this new plan is the ninth since 2005 that lead to a total of 1,000 job cuts. In 2013 Unilever announced 152 job cuts.
