European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Train company, London Midland, has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs as part of a restructuring plan.
The company has said that there will be no front line job losses, and that cuts will be made in the head office and support staff. London Midland said that the plans would help to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Trade Union TSSA said that it was very disappointed by the news of job cuts and that they were seeking urgent talks with the company.
