Description
Residential construction firm Barratt Developments has announced that it plans to create around 3,000 new jobs. The company is expanding its operations by increasing the number of sites from 380 to 450. The additional workers include sub-contractors working on-site.
The move follows the government’s announcement that it will extend the "help to buy" scheme which helps first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder.
