Description
German solar modules manufacturer Solon will relocate its headquarters and production from Berlin to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the end of April 2014 and thus make 230 staff redundant.
The relocation results of the company’s acquisition by UAE based Microsol. Solon had been acquired by Microsol in March 2012 after filing for insolvency in November 2011.
Talks with worker representatives have been announced.
