Description
DB Schenker, a subsidiary of German railway company Deutsche Bahn, will create 135 jobs in Saarland until 2016. This is due to a capital expenditure programme.
50 jobs will be created for the disposition of the traffic directed to France, Spain and Portugal. 60 additional jobs will be created in DB Schenker’s logistics centre. Another 25 people will be employed in a service centre for DB Schenker Rail.
The ERM previously reported on restructurings at DB Schenker announced in 2013 and 2011.
