Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Becton Dickinson (BD), manufacturer specialised in medical glass equipment, is to hire 200 additional staff in Tatabánya by the end of 2014.
This is due to an expansion of the company’s plant financed by an investment worth HUF 3 billion (EUR 10 million). The plan is to increase the output of glass syringes and to launch the production of plastic medical technology devices at its Hungarian unit.
The company already hired 200 additional staff in 2013.
