Description
Brussels public transport company STIB announced its intention to hire 1,000 workers in 2014. This represents a 15% increase of its workforce. The company intends to recruit 400 bus/tram/metro drivers, 300 white-collar workers, 160 blue-collar workers and 85 security staff. According to the management, the job creation is driven by the metro expansion plans and the need to replace older workers who will be retiring soon.
