Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German car parts producer Grammer CZ is to gradually make 418 workers redundant due to the closure of its plant in Dolni Karlovice.
The exact date of the site’s closure is not yet known. The company has decided to relocate the production to its newly opened plant in the Triangle industrial zone near Zatec.
The redundant workers will be given statutory severance pay and some benefits from the company's social package.
In 2010, the ERM reported on the company’s business expansion in Tachov.
