Description
The bankruptcy of Polish construction company Henpol was ratified by a court decision on 21 January 2014. As a consequence 350 workers will be dismissed and the company will be liquidated. Henpol, like many Polish construction companies, has faced financial difficulties due to the decline in the construction sector in Poland. It is reported that the company has over 172 mln PLN debts. Moreover, workers have not received salaries since November 2013. Henpol was founded in 1987.
