Rossport Pharmaceuticals, which produces and distributes electronic cigarettes, is to create 138 new jobs in quality assurance, production, marketing and regulatory control positions, with a new €5 million plant in Corr Na Mona in the west of Ireland. The investment is being supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta, a regional development agency for the Irish-speaking regions of Ireland. According to some reports, the expansion involves onshoring of production of their Nicofresh range of e-cigarettes currently carried out mainly in China. Jobs will be in various roles including pharmaceutical, R&D, marketing and production.
