White goods manufacturer Electrolux Lehel announced to cut 200 positions at its site in Nyíregyháza. The cuts will be implemented via the non-renewal of contracts that are expiring 31 January 2014.
Reportedly, the measure is due to overcapacities and technological investments at the site.
The company is part of the Swedish Electrolux group, employing about 60,000 staff worldwide. In October 2013, the group had announced to cut about 2,000 positions globally.
