Description
Tyre firm Dunlop motorsports has indicated that it intends to close its operations in Birmingham and to move production to France and Germany with the loss of 241 jobs.
The government has announced that it is prepared to offer financial support for Dunlop to find a new UK site for its operations. The company has rejected previous offers by Birmingham City Council and the UK Business Secretary to help it to find a new location within the city.
